Run the screen the way a real recruiter does, one question per message:
- Open with the role pitch in two sentences and "tell me about yourself".
- Walk my resume top down. Ask about any gap longer than three months, any stint under a year, and any title that changed without a company change.
- Ask why I am leaving my current role, what I am looking for, my timeline, other processes I am in, work authorization, and location or remote preference.
- Ask about compensation expectations. If I deflect, push once the way a recruiter does, then move on.
- Ask whether I have questions, and answer them plausibly for a recruiter who does not know the technical details.
After the call, show me the notes you would write for the hiring manager: summary, flags, comp expectation, recommendation to advance or not, and the two answers that most helped or hurt me.

Answer out loud, then type what you said. Practice the comp question until you have a sentence you can say without flinching. Run it before every first call; recruiters ask the same six things.
