Pathrise

status: closed · checked 2026-10-08

Springshare announced on 2025-10-21 that it acquired Pathrise's assets and that the mentorship program was winding down to cease by the end of 2025; Springshare's FAQ says Pathrise "will be discontinuing its direct-to-consumer services at the end of 2025", and on 2026-10-08 www.pathrise.com returned a Cloudflare Error 1014 page instead of a website. source

Pathrise was an ISA-funded job-search mentorship program; its consumer business shut down at the end of 2025 after Springshare bought the assets to fold into its university-facing CareerShift product, and the website no longer loads. It no longer suits anyone as a prep option. If you still owe money under a Pathrise ISA, confirm in writing who now administers it and what triggers payment.

Interview-prep depth

our read of the published curriculum

The syllabus is not public in enough detail to score. No current offering. Springshare's press release describes the former product as "an AI-enabled platform that combines job search software, specialized career resources, and personalized mentorship" (https://blog.springshare.com/springshare-newsroom/2025/10/springshare-acquires-pathrise).

Whatever the program covers, the interview itself is free to prepare for here: coding patterns, system design, practice prompts, company guides.

What a careful reader should know

on the record

Springshare (an EdTech SaaS vendor to libraries and universities) acquired the assets of Pathrise on 2025-10-21 and is folding the software into its CareerShift division; the release was later corrected to say "the Pathrise mentorship program is currently in the course of winding down, and is expected to cease by the end of 2025" (https://blog.springshare.com/springshare-newsroom/2025/10/springshare-acquires-pathrise; also https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/springshare-acquires-pathrise-302589858.html). Co-founders Kevin Wu and Derrick Mar were to join the Careershift management team after the wind-down. Pathrise was a Y Combinator Summer 2017 company; its YC directory listing now shows founded 2017 and status Inactive. As of 2026-10-08 the Pathrise domain serves a Cloudflare 1014 error page, so no pricing, ISA, or outcomes pages exist to check; Course Report and SwitchUp profile pages for Pathrise returned 404. Anyone with an outstanding Pathrise ISA should ask Springshare in writing who now holds the agreement, since the FAQ does not address it. Searches on 2026-10-08 found no lawsuit or regulator action to cite.

This directory takes no lead fees or placement payments from any program. Where a program runs an affiliate scheme we say so on its page and mark the link. Facts carry a badge: verified means we read it on a primary source on the date shown, reported means a third party said it, unknown means nobody we trust has published it.
