General Assembly

status: pivoted · checked 2026-10-08

Regulatory page, read 2026-10-08: 'General Assembly ceased new consumer enrollments on April 28, 2026 and is concluding its consumer course operations for currently enrolled students through an orderly teach-out process.' The company continues as an enterprise training provider inside the Adecco Group (LHH). Course Report: 'General Assembly ceased enrolling consumers on April 28, 2026. It continues to provide training for businesses.' source

General Assembly stopped taking individual students on April 28, 2026 after fifteen years and now sells training to employers through the Adecco Group. If you were enrolled, the teach-out continues and records come from [email protected]. If you see a GA consumer course advertised anywhere, it is stale marketing or a third-party reseller, so do not pay.

our read of the published curriculum

The syllabus is not public in enough detail to score. Consumer career services ended with consumer operations.

Whatever the program covers, the interview itself is free to prepare for here: coding patterns, system design, practice prompts, company guides.

What a careful reader should know

on the record

Founded 2011 by Jake Schwartz, Adam Pritzker, Matthew Brimer and Brad Hargreaves; acquired by the Adecco Group in April 2018 for $413 million (Wikipedia). Not accredited by a US Department of Education recognized accreditor (regulatory page). Enterprise clients named on the site include Adobe, Microsoft, Apple and Coca-Cola. Historical curriculum stack listed here is from the former Software Engineering Immersive as described on Course Report and is not verified against a current syllabus.

Third-party signals: Course Report 4.31 (714 reviews). SwitchUp 4.27. Graduation-time star ratings are collected by the schools; weigh them accordingly.

This directory takes no lead fees or placement payments from any program. Where a program runs an affiliate scheme we say so on its page and mark the link. Facts carry a badge: verified means we read it on a primary source on the date shown, reported means a third party said it, unknown means nobody we trust has published it.
