This was the best-known university-branded fintech boot camp: 24 part-time weeks of Python, machine learning and blockchain run by 2U under the Columbia name. It closed in 2024 and nothing with the Columbia brand replaced it. If a listing site still shows it as open, that site is stale.

What a careful reader should know

on the record

Operated by edX Boot Camps (formerly Trilogy Education) under 2U, which entered Chapter 11 in July 2024. The Columbia program is the model for the other university-branded fintech boot camps that closed with it. Course Report's school page covers all Columbia boot camps, not FinTech alone.

Third-party signals: Course Report 4.72 (76 reviews). SwitchUp 4. Graduation-time star ratings are collected by the schools; weigh them accordingly.

This directory takes no lead fees or placement payments from any program. Where a program runs an affiliate scheme we say so on its page and mark the link. Facts carry a badge: verified means we read it on a primary source on the date shown, reported means a third party said it, unknown means nobody we trust has published it.
