- pivoted [Chegg Skills (formerly Thinkful)](https://www.techinterview.org/bootcamp_directory/p/chegg-skills-thinkful/): Thinkful's consumer bootcamps, including Data Analytics, stopped taking direct applicants in 2024: an April 2024 archived homepage still sold them, by June 2024 thinkful.com redirected to Chegg Skills' employer-facing site, and Course Report says applicants now go through Guild.

Course Report lists Columbia Engineering Boot Camps as closed and no longer accepting students.

## How to choose
Start from a job posting you actually want and check the syllabus against it: orchestration (Airflow or similar), a cloud warehouse, dbt, Spark and some streaming for engineering roles; SQL, spreadsheets, a BI tool and Python for analyst roles. Prefer programs that make you set up real infrastructure over browser-only exercises. Read the refund schedule and any guarantee terms before the sales call, and ask for the most recent outcomes report with its date and denominator. Ignore company logo walls, 'students have gone on to work at' lines and labor-market salary figures. The common mistake is paying bootcamp prices for a short tool course, or buying a career-change program whose track was quietly dropped; two of the best-known data tracks in this list were discontinued or shut down in the last year.

claims that do not hold upPlacement and salary claims in this category are mostly self-reported, undated or borrowed from job-posting data. Google's certificate page shows a '$97,000 median salary' that is a Lightcast job-postings number, not what graduates earn. Udacity's '96% positive career outcome' is a survey across all its programs. CareerFoundry marketed a money-back job guarantee right up to its February 2026 insolvency, which left the guarantee with no company behind it. And Flatiron's 2017 settlement with the New York Attorney General is a reminder that headline placement rates have counted apprentices and contractors before.
